Living and having our hair salon in Hackney Wick connects us to our local community. We love supporting local businesses as much as we can. Below are few of our favourite spots we love to support or visit. Even more of our local favourites will be featured on this blog.

Sunday Of London

Sunday Of London is where we source our Vegan, Environmentally Friendly, GMO-free candles and mists. Sunday Of London use only pure essential oils. The candles and mists have no Synthetics and GMO and Soy-Free. We cut our carbon footprint by collecting our stock straight from their workshop here in Hackney Wick.

Barkney Wick

An eco-friendly, Low waste community centre for dogs and humans. Although we don’t have a dog we love Barkney Wick. Its literally round the corner from our hair salon. The cafe is super yummy, great selection of cakes for us and dogs too. The plant based food is a treat - vegan, gluten free savoury pastries are a winner. Barkney Wick also have a zero waste dog shop and human shop selling ethically and local sourced goods.

The Milk Float

A floating bar and cafe with an amazing upper deck. We love coming here in the summer time sipping cocktails, eating locally made ice-cream and watching the canal boats float by. The Milk Float is always open for coffee, milk shakes and ice cream. Walk by their open side hatch and check them out.

Bandito Burger

Located on The Milk Float - Bandito Burgers do incredible street food which includes hotdogs, patatas bravas and you guessed it burgers. They have vegan options too. Such a yummy local take-away treat.
